Mt. Baker Summer Camps
Our Summer Camps invite youth ages 8–17 to discover confidence, teamwork, and adventure on Lake Washington. Participants learn to row or sail, build skills, and make lasting friendships—all in a safe environment that meets Seattle Parks and Recreation requirements. Financial aid is available, making this enriching summer experience accessible to everyone.

Multi-Sport
Summer Camps
Available in both half-day and full-day formats for ages 11-15, Grades 6-9. Our Multi-Sport camp introduces your child to the many boating activities (stand up paddle boarding, kayaking). Other activities may include but are not limited to swimming at our two nearby lifeguarded beaches, as well as excursions to our nearby parks and neighborhoods. All water and land activities are influenced by the weather of the day; sunshine, wind, rain, no wind, etc. Camp activities are generated collaboratively with FUN and SAFE activities as a priority. ***This course requires a float test taken prior to class and a signed Risk and Release/Medical form on file, which you can find at www.mbrsc.com.

Kids Sailing Camp
Ages 8–11 (Beginning & Intermediate)
This is a perfect sailing camp for the younger sailor (ages 8-11) who wants to check out sailing in a very stable sailboat. These young sailors will take to Lake Washington in our fleet of flat bottom pram sailboats (Opti’s) that are lightweight and easy to maneuver. The camp will also include: rigging, knots, basic rules of the water, teamwork, with an emphasis on safety and FUN! ***This course requires a float test taken prior to class and a signed Risk and Release/Medical form on file.

Youth Sailing Camp
Ages 11–17
Mount Baker's Sailing Camps are for ALL skill levels (ages 11-17). Come sail in our fleet of double-handed dinghies. Safety, skill development and FUN are our goals. Each week, our trained sailing staff will review the roster and determine each camper's skill individually and quickly assign them into groups by experience and aspirations. ***This course requires a float test taken prior to class and a signed Risk and Release/Medical form on file.

All camps open to any level, no experience needed except specified in title/description.
Intermediate sailing camps need at least 1 week of sailing camp or permission from instructor.

Scholarships can help with activity fees.
We know these costs add up for families, and we are committed to ensuring that there are no financial barriers to participation in our programs.
Seattle Parks and Recreation offers a 50-90% assistance level.

Scholarship Website and ApplicationIf your family does not meet the criteria of the Seattle Parks and Recreation Scholarship, we also offer expanded assistance levels of 10-40% with our Supplemental Financial Aid. (You will still need to apply for an SPR scholarship first).
