Mt. Baker Summer Camps

Mount Baker Rowing & Sailing Summer Camps invite youth to discover confidence, teamwork, and adventure on the water. Surrounded by the beauty of Lake Washington, they learn to row or sail while building skills that last far beyond the summer. Whether new to the sport or ready to grow, each day is about challenge, camaraderie, and creating memories that inspire a lifelong connection to the water. Below are the summer camp programs that Mount Baker offers and please reach out if you have questions.

Multi-Sport ½ Day

A half day fun water sport camp for youth ages 11-16.

  • This program is designed kids ages 13-18. All summer camp info will be posted mid Feb.

  • Summer: 1pm - 5pm, Mon - Fri

Multi-Sport Camp Full Day

During the summer months, Mt. Baker provides camps for youth ages 8-18, including sailing-focused camps. These camps offer a fun and educational environment where participants can immerse themselves in sailing activities, develop new skills, and make lasting friendships. 

All programs prioritize safety and adhere to Seattle Parks and Recreation’s requirements, including a mandatory float test for participants. Financial aid is available to ensure accessibility for all interested individuals.

Youth Sailing Camp - Ages 11-17

  • This program is designed for girls new to rowing or returning for their second season. They focus on fundamental rowing technique while developing endurance, strength, leadership, and confidence.

  • SPRING:‍ ‍
    Dates: Feb 2 - May 18, 2026
    Practices: Monday-Friday, 4:15-6:15pm
    Regattas: On Select Weekends

Copy here Crew program is open to youth of all experience levels, from first-time rowers to athletes pursuing collegiate competition. With expert coaching, structured training, and a strong team culture, rowers gain confidence, resilience, and lasting friendships with peers from diverse neighborhoods and backgrounds.

Program Details


  • Varies per class - look at class description


  • All camps open to any level, no experience needed except specified in title/description.

    Intermediate sailing camps need at least 1 week of sailing camp or permission from instructor.

  • All summer camps run Monday - Friday unless noted.


  • Fees include all expenses


  • Scholarships can help with:

    • Activity fees

    We know these costs add up for families, and we are committed to ensuring that there are no financial barriers to participation in our programs.

    Seattle Parks and Recreation offers a 50-90% assistance level.

    If your family does not meet the criteria of the Seattle Parks and Recreation Scholarship, we also offer expanded assistance levels of 10-40% with our Supplemental Financial Aid. (You will still need to apply for an SPR scholarship first).

    Please bring closed toed water shoes, tennis shoes. They will get wet. Flip flops are not allowed.

    Shorts/Bathing suits/T-shirts

    Sunscreen

    Snack/Lunch depending on length of Camp.
