Summer Taylor

Summer Taylor is the Mt. Baker Novice Girls Head Coach. Summer is lifelong swimmer and former D1 athlete for the University of Hawaii. She has deep enthusiasm for sport and competition that she likes to share with young athletes as they learn to challenge themselves. She enjoys helping athletes establish a solid work ethic, personal accountability, and a team mindset—all skills that will aid them throughout their athletic, academic, and professional careers.

Summer discovered rowing as an adult and competes with Sammamish Rowing Association. She has raced with success at major regattas including Head of the Charles in Boston, San Diego Crew Classic, Windermere Cup/Opening Day in Seattle, Husky Open in Seattle, Head of the Lake in Seattle, Tail of the Lake in Seattle, and USRowing Northwest Masters Championships in Oregon.
